“ A must try halal food truck .. I've tried their shawarma and Soup. Great service and a lot of food Love the bread ”
“ I was so happy to see a Doner spot when visiting the area. After spending a year in Europe I developed a love for late night Doner wraps & pita sándwiches. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the way I remembered and the pita is homemade and DELICIOUS. Navat took me back to late nights wraps in Berlin, lunchtime wraps in Spain and I thoroughly enjoyed all the flashbacks that came with my yummy lunch today. The gentleman was kind and speedy. The truck was located in the giant Motel 6 parking lot; luckily the hotel is a stand up establishment with security and safety wasn't a worry in my mind. I'll definitely support this spot again if I have the opportunity. Well done! ”
“ I came here with a couple of friends. This place is sequestered in a small parking lot with a couple of benches for the seating area. The service was okay. I got the chicken wrap and it was massive, which was wonderful. It was definitely enough for two servings. It was pretty flavorful. My only critique was that there was way too much sauce that it kind of overtook the chicken and veggies inside. ”
“ This is a food truck that serves bomb Central Asian food? I am little iffy myself. Middle Eastern? Mediterranean? Not Sure Honestly but I can tell you it's good. The service is prompt and you can tell it's the go to spot for Uber drivers. The ambiance isn't the best but it's okay because you are taking this food home and it tastes just as good fresh or 15 mins later. That Chicken Wrap is totally bomb and GINORMOUS! That dressing mixed with the nicely seasoned chunky chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, rice and what other magic is sooooo delicious. You must order. That Beef Rice Pilaf is nicely seasoned and yummy if you want something simple and straightforward. Manti was not my favorite type of dumpling but it's just because I am used to eating the Chinese xlbs. Beef/Lamb Pita sandwich was also yummy with fries inside being a nice surprise. If you need something late night, swing by before 2am, they are around . Get that chicken wrap and share it with your friends. If you see, it's bigger than my fave. ”
“ I hate driving in LA, but I keep seeing this food truck pop up on my feed. They serve Mediterranean and Central Asian foods, and they specialize in shawarma wraps. I never had shawarma, so this was my first time and I was not disappointed! Parking: There is free street parking if you get lucky with finding a spot in the cul-de-sac. They're also located in front of a small parking lot that charges $10. Environment: The surrounding area is quiet yet a bit sketchy. I noticed a lot of cars turn into this street to make a u-turn or if they're lost. There is limited seating outside on the left side of the truck. Service: Our servers were quick and efficient. They speak limited English, but they do understand. Throughput was under 10 minutes. What I ordered: 1) Beef n Lamb Pita Sandwich - I was skeptical of the lamb, but it actually was delicious! I enjoyed their Navat red and white sauce; it reminded me of in n out's sauce. The pita was my favorite part. It was cooked well and not too flat or fluffy. 2) Samsa - Crunchy puff pastry stuffed with minced beef and onions. I'd prefer a bit more beef, but it was a nice savory dessert. The pastry was definitely crunchy. 3) Chicken Shawarma Wrap - This was my favorite out of everything! I decided not to build my own shawarma and wanted to play it safe since it's my first time trying it. The portion was larger than I expected. It can definitely be split in half and shared. The chicken was cooked well and filled generously. 4) Manti - I had to try their version of dumplings. The outside tasted exactly like a dumpling would, but it was stuffed with beef and onion. The beef was cooked well. The dumpling was a bit juicy, but it did fall apart easily. 5) Beef Rice Pilaf - This was my second favorite dish! Tender chunks of meat, fluffy rice, carrots, onions and cumin cooked in a seasoned broth. This entire dish paired well with each other. The rice was like no other; it was very savory! Definitely fulfilling for one person. Pricing: Everything is average $$$ price nowadays. Not surprised since it's also located in LA. Perfect for an afternoon lunch, quick bite, or late night dinner. ”
“ Came across this food truck specializing in shawarma and this is what i ordered: chicken shawarma wrap: the size of this was huge, i was not able to finish in one sitting. Loved the flavor and the chicken with their sauce. My favorite item beef and lamb pita sandwich: also pretty decent size, there were veggies and meat inside beef rice pilaf: the beef and rice paired well and the beef was pretty tender manti dumplings : large dumplings filled with beef and onions. never had something like this but it's worth a try ”
“ If you're craving a taste journey that spans from the Mediterranean to Central Asia, then Navat food truck has got you covered. This location is right around the corner from the Crypto Arena, which is so convenient if you're looking for a place after watching a show or sports game. I'd recommend getting the Manti, which are the HUGE juicy and meaty dumplings. Navat closes super late, which is great for the late-night hangry times. Here's what I got: - Chicken Shawarma Wrap - Beef and Lamb Pita Sandwich - Beef Rice Pilaf - Manti ”
“ Authentic, affordable, delicious entrees with incredible staff! I loved the high quality meats and rich creamy sauces. The house white sauce makes all the flavor pop. I'm obsessed! The rice was yummy and balanced the meat. The manti dumplings were perfectly textured and folded. The shawarma is customizable and loaded with fresh ingredients. Every bite was delicious. I also really liked the pita wrap (with French fries inside!!) so easy to eat and even better with their salsa! Parking is easy and I can't believe it's so close to crypto arena! It stays open late and is such a hidden gem! ”
